Hey Family!

As part of your spiritual formation journey, we are launching Celebrate Recovery the Tuesday night after Easter, April 19th, at 6:30pm at Church 212. This weekly service is open to anyone who would like to attend.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblically based 12-step program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits by discovering the love and healing power of a growing relationship with Jesus.

These three "H" words are intentionally placed in order. When we don't deal with "hurts," they turn into "hangups." And if still not tended to in a healthy manner, they turn into bad "habits," which are destructive to our spiritual health. Thankfully, although we have already been formed through our past experiences, we can be reformed through the redemption available in Christ.

That is why on Easter Sunday, we are teaching through "the Beatitudes," a list of blessings Jesus spoke to people in condition of great need. This is strategic because the eight beatitudes are also the eight principles of Celebrate Recovery. So, following Easter, we will begin an extended sermon series on these beatitudes, "Overcoming Hurts, Hangups, and Habits."

Conclusively, I would love for you to be in attendance Tuesday night, April 19th, in support of our first Celebrate Recovery service! The large group is like a normal service, and then open share groups are optional following.

Tuesdays
Large Group: 6:30-7:30pm
Open Share Groups: 7:30-8:30pm

Childcare is currently provided for volunteers only, and we are expecting to open it to those in attendance as the children's ministry develops with more volunteers.
