Prayer Night

We are having a night of prayer this Thursday evening on January 31, 2019 @6pm.

Here are the details:

  • The venue will be the sanctuary of Church 212, situated at 36-927 Cook Street, Palm Desert, CA  92255.
  • At least one staff member will assure the opening and closing of the building.  This will most likely be Frank, who will oversee security matters for the event.
  • One Production Team member will oversee and operate the sanctuary lighting, audio, and video systems.
  • The time allotted for this first of many such sessions will be 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019.  Participants are welcome to arrive and depart at will.  Some pay only be able to spend a brief time, while others may wish to be present for the full time available.
  • While children are welcome, no childcare will be provided.
  • While the 212 Cafe will not be fully operational, coffee will be available.
  • The focus of the time of prayer will be on Church 212, its congregation and its leadership, as well as our community, our region, and our nation.  Printed guidelines will be available for participants outlining “rules of engagement”.
  • Should personal prayer be required, a mature pair of adults will be available in the Jr. High classroom throughout the entire evening.
  • Background music will be playing softly to facilitate an attitude of prayer.
  • Scripture passages will be scrolling on the video screens during the entire session.
  • The evening of prayer will be announced in “Boiling Points”  on January 20 and January 27.
  • Beginning this week, the evening of prayer will be announced on all our social media channels, as well as prominently featured on the website and the app.  This will be under the direction of Daniel Harrison (and Jeremy Carroll for Instagram).
  • Tee Berry will make an announcement and give an invitation to attend from the stage on January 27.
